Bird and bamboo copy of Kalpa Maclachlan's original painting of Blue Throat
Came across a beautiful website 'http://www.kalpamaclachlan.com/' of Zen paintings "the art of Sumi-e" .
I liked her paintings so much, that I couldn't stop myself to sketch one of her painting. You can find her original work here "http://www.kalpamaclachlan.com/kunstwerk/13908858_Bluethroat.html#.U5aioXadQg8"

Wardrobe angels

Now is the time to study the behaviour of vertical and horizontal lines. My object of study was my dressing table, wardrobe and some boxes on it.

Have a great week ahead :)

My empty hand

I think it would be better if I make my base solid before  going into the world of watercolor, so I decided to teach myself sketching or classic style of drawing, and I came across  a book by Betty edwards and now I will share some of my new sketches with you all. Hope that I will enjoy the proceess of drawing.

This is my empty hand sketch. I made this as an excercise in the book, pretty cool way of teaching by Betty edwards, I recommend this book(drawing from the right side of the brain) to anyone who wants himself to draw well.

Stay sweet and happy
